Krithika being the 50th graduating student of Nritya Sudha’s Hindu Temple Rhythms, this Thillana celebrates HTR’s memorable landmark and garlands the organization with a unique ThillanaMaalika set to Raga malika and Thala malika.  Each line of the thillana is set to a different Raagam and different Thalam. Then show, but asuras were constantly tormenting devas. Then show one day, devas came to see Lord Vishnu. (Show lotus, Lakshmi etc.) After that, show devas bowing to Lord Vishnu. Then show them asking oh, Vishnu what should we do? The asuras are constantly tormenting us. Vishnu stands, thinks, and then says, you have to bring the Mandara Mountain into the Milky Ocean. Then you will have to bring the serpent Vasuki and tie him around it. Then you will have to churn the ocean get the amrita and destroy the asuras. But you will have to churn the ocean with the asuras. Then show devas bow agreeing and walk away. Next show the mean asura king. Then show devas come and bow. Devas ask- You along with us will have to churn the milky ocean to get the amrita and become strong. For that we will need your help to bring the Mandara Mountain to the Milky Ocean and tie the serpent Vasuki around it. Will you kindly help us? Asura says surely. We are strong. Let us go. Go to left corner of the stage and show pushing of the Mandara Mountain. Then show water and mountain inside. Then show snake around shikaram. Then asuras head side and devas tail side. Begin to churn slowly. Then show snake dizzy. Poison out of snake. Mountain tumbling side to side. Devas running asuras running. Pray to Narayana. Vishnu sees and smiles. Body, takes form of turtle. Slowly crawls to mountain. Sit on knees. Mountain on back. People astonished. Continue churning.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Butter Stealing&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First show long ago Krishna little boy into houses butter steal. Show sequence of gopi making butter and cleaning the house. Krishna comes into house. Looks around then puts flute into belt. Then he looks in vessels. Failing, he pouts, and thinks. Looks up to find butter. Gets a jump start and jumps 2 times Fails, so he takes a barrel and puts it under the pots. Gets butter, eats it, then he smears the extra on his hands on the gopi’s face and leaves. Gopi awakes astonished and sees all of the mess. She goes looking for Krishna.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Kalia story&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;First show long ago Krishna and friends play ball. Show ball playing. Third or fourth time, ball falls into water. Krishna goes. Friends stop him, but he goes anyways. Climbs tree, jumps into water and looks for ball. Kalia follows behind. Show Krishna swimming couple more times, and then show him untangling Kalia. Kalia pose. Takita Takadimi around Kalia. Then show Kalia tired. Kalia left and never came back. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Govardhana Mountain&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Show long ago Indra got mad because Krishna told everyone to go and pray to the Govardhana Mountain instead of him. So he sent rain and thunder. Show family walking in rain. Krishna looks up, nods. Lifts Govardhana Mountain, calls everyone. Plays flute. I see someone coming. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;MURUGA(AS HUNTER) : Did you see a deer come running here?? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI - NO! (answering stubbornly) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;MURUGA - It had beautiful fish shaped eyes like yours!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI - (even madder) I didn't see any deer come this way. Be gone!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;NEXT DAY.... &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI - Shoo!  Shoo! (driving the birds away with her friends) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;MURUGA (AS BANGLE SELLER) - Bangles!!  Bangles!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;SAKHI - Look Valli!!  Bangles, let's go buy some. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Valli goes with friends &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;SAKHI - Valli, you go first. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;BANGLE SELLER - Try these ones!  It'll suit your skin color. (Puts bangles on her.  Starts to touch her hand and caress it instead of putting the bangles.) &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI - You idiot! Stop it! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Valli and friends go away.. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;NEXT DAY &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;MURUGA (AS OLD MAN) -  Oooh!  I am thirsty! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI - (sees the old man) Old man, what do you want? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;OLD MAN - I would just like some water please!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI gives water &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI - Do you want anything else?? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;OLD MAN - I would like to marry you. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI - NO WAY!! &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;OLD MAN keeps following her and asks her to marry him. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Valli hears an elephant coming and gets scared.. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;OLD MAN - Valli, what are you afraid of? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;VALLI -  Nothing.... except elephants. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Valli sees an elephant approaching, screams and hugs the old man. &lt;br /&gt;Old man turns into Lord Muruga. Valli cannot believe her eyes.
